After nearly 4 months of being Prime Minister, Lord Berain Ergen resigned after culminating pressure from a vote of no-confidence against him started in Parliament. Ergen's tenure was marked by inactivity from the office itself, but great strides in other parts of government and society. As per the negotiations of a resignation from such an office, he shall keep all orders gifted to him during his tenure. His successor is his Deputy, Eric, 1st Duke Pavillion who shall be the acting Prime Minister for the duration of the election period. Elections will end with voting opening on May 5th. Though, with no candidates so far, it may seem like the Lord Pavillion will have to stay in office for a bit more time, due to the fact that an absence of a Prime Minister would almost nearly mean a constitutional crisis. Foreign Minister Jhá and the Lord Pavillion dissolved parliament for the duration of the election period, it is expected to reopen after the election period.
