Juniperia is a constitutional monarchy, a lot like the United Kingdom, the queen does not have political power. But the Queen is still an important and respected figure.
Nationality
Juniperia takes great pride in its rich and diverse culture, consisting of nearly 40 citizens, we allow anyone within Orange County to become a citizen. See "Citizenship".
Geography
Juniperia is situated in the rolling hills and beautiful plains of Irvine. And claims various exclaves there as its "land". This land is not legally controlled, only claimed.
OUR STORY
Juniperia can trace its origins back to the early 2010s, an old nation "The Westavian Empire" was founded by an old relative of the Prime Minister and dominated the area. The Westavian Empire was one of the first Micronations in all of Orange County. The Westavian Empire later declined and was succeeded by the Mogunesian Empire, a much more powerful Empire. Eventually, the Republic of Juniperia seceded from the Kingdom of Setara. This was one of the first "Alturic" nations to engage diplomatically with Gapla, eventually fighting a short war (which was a tie). Later, the people voted to establish a monarchy and Athena II was chosen as our monarch.
