Gapla, a micronation in Irvine has falsely claimed affiliation with the U.N. A UN document states https://www.un.org/en/about-us/fraud-alert that organizations similar to Gapla may be fraudulent. After all, they admit their monarchy is "an initiative to raise money for Gapla." Wyatt Baek, the Gaplan leader claims to be recognized by two UN member states. This is false, seeing as their only proof is a document on the Swiss website, not mentioning Gapla at all. And a very, we mean extremely small Dutch politician has fraudulently represented the Dutch government and recognized Gapla. (all of this is according to their MW page) Gapla continues to encroach on Juniperian borders, annexing nation after nation.
